Thank you for your interest in applying to St. John Paul II Academy Middle Level. Feel free to call our school office for a tour at 361-851-0853 or submit a "Request for More Information" online to have your questions answered. If you are ready to move forward with the Application Process, please follow the steps below to guide you, starting at Step 1.

Step 1 - Create Account and Submit Online Application

The application process online includes the creation of an account and the submission of an application form, along with required documents.

Instructions for Creating a FACTS Application Account:

Click to go the Admissions Page.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Create an Account."
Fill out the required fields and click on "Create an Account" once completed.
You will then receive an email in approximately 5-10 minutes from FACTS Customer Support containing a link that will allow you to create your username and password. For security purposes, the link will remain active for 6 hours. If you don't receive email, be sure to check your SPAM/JUNK folder.
Please click on the link in the email. A change/create password screen will open. You may use the default username provided or create a new username. Then type in your desired password in the Password field and confirm field.
Click on the Save Username and/or Password button.
Close the window.
Please go to FACTS Website.
Fill in the the username and password.
Proceed to fill out the Online Application for the appropriate year.

Step 2 - School will call to schedule an Interview

A school's Admission Team member will call the parent/guardian to schedule an interview.

During the interview, the administrator will first meet with the parent(s) and then the student(s). Academic and discipline records will be reviewed at this time.

For the interview the following documents are required:

The current report card, including attendance and discipline
Most recent Achievement Test Scores (Iowa, STAR, etc.)
Completed financial aid application 2 weeks prior to the interview if seeking assistance.

After the interview, if the student is accepted, you will be sent an acceptance email from the school office. You will then be able to complete the enrollment process online. The enrollment process includes additional documents and the tuition plan.

Step 3 - Enroll Accepted Applicant

Now, you are ready to complete the Enrollment Packet for your child.

Instructions for Creating a New Family Portal Account:

Please go to FACTS Family Portal
At the Login screen, please select Create New Account.
Enter BG-TX into the District Code field.
Enter in the Email field your email address as provided in your application to the school.
Click the Create Account button.
You will receive an email in approximately 5-10 minutes from FACTS Customer Support containing a link that will allow you to create your username and password. For security purposes, the link will remain active for 6 hours.
Please click on the link. A Change/Create Password screen will open. You may use the default username provided, or create a new username. Then type in your desired password into the Password field and Confirm Field.
Click on the Save Username and/or Password button.
Close the window.
Log into FACTS Family Portal as instructed above.
Then click on Enroll from the left menu of options.
Proceed to find the Enrollment packet for your student(s) and complete it.

Step 4 - Decide if applying for Financial Aid/Tuition Assistance

If you are considering to apply for Tuition Assistance, please see the information below:

Click on Tuition Assistance.
Once the new tab opens, click "Create an Account" and fill in the necessary fields.
Once you are logged in, you will need to answer the necessary questions and upload your 1040s and W-2s from the previous tax year.
Once you are ready to submit your application, you will be charged a $40 processing fee and your application will take 10 business days to be verified.
Once verified, you are able to move forward to schedule an interview for yourself/student.
